2020 has been very weird and also a little bit wonderful

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since we checked in... that's because we haven't needed to share any news! What a great problem to have :)

Like all of you, we've been hunkered down here in Tewksbury since early March. We've been particularly cautious, as you may have assumed, with Chris at a higher risk, but have been able to enjoy our time outside this summer and picked up a few new hobbies, as well:

Baking & decorating...

backyard movie nights & drive-ins...

and lots of outdoor activities!

Health-wise, things are continuing to go well. Chris' next scans will be in September, and all of his recent tests have come back looking great; the doctors are all very happy to see his continued progress. He is still having some small side effects, but overall is feeling healthy!

We are so grateful for all of the support we've received from all of you, in addition to the great care we've had at Dana-Farber, and we'll be participating in the 2020 Jimmy Fund Walk on October 4. The walk typically takes place on the Boston Marathon course, but will be happening all across the country this year, as walkers set out on their own course to stay safe in their community. We'd love to have you on the team if you're interested in walking with us! You can join our team if you'd like to walk (anywhere) or donate to our fundraising goal by clicking HERE.

Thank you all!

It's been a long time since I've come here and it's been both very painful and very sweet looking through past posts, comments, and photos. Ellie and I have been surrounded with support and generosity
